Joha Rice Prices Double in Assam Amid Rising Demand

Joha rice prices in Assam have doubled to around Rs 160 per kg due to rising demand and a poor Gobindobhog crop in West Bengal. Increased exports and demand from domestic and international markets have further driven prices up.
