Jorhat MP Raises Concerns Over Environmental Impact of Assam Projects

Jorhat MP Gaurav Gogoi expressed concerns about the environmental and community impact of the proposed Digholi Pukhuri-Noonmati flyover and two other projects in Assam. He highlighted large-scale deforestation in Chandmari and urged for an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). Gogoi also flagged delays in the Jorhat-Majuli bridge and the potential disruption to local businesses from a proposed flyover on AT Road in Jorhat.
