Jorhat Scientist Dr Murchana Khusroo Secures ISRO Project on Solar Wind Study

Dr Murchana Khusroo from Jorhat, Assistant Professor at USTM, has received a prestigious ISRO project under the RAC-S programme. Her project, “Multi-Spacecraft Investigation of Solar Wind Dynamics,” is the first from Northeast India to use data from India’s Aditya-L1 mission. In collaboration with Dr Aveek Sarkar of PRL Ahmedabad, the research will study solar wind turbulence and space weather. The achievement marks a proud moment for Assam, USTM, and the entire Northeast.
