Journalist Among Three More Arrested in Tinsukia Terror Funding Probe

The terror funding investigation in Assam’s Tinsukia district has intensified with the arrest of three more individuals, including journalist Hironmoy Moran, over alleged links to militant financing networks.

Police said Moran was arrested after questioning over allegations of supporting militant groups and facilitating financial networks. Two other accused, Noor Mohammad and Mohammad Shubham, were brought from Uttar Pradesh for further investigation.

Meanwhile, two previously arrested accused were sent to judicial custody, while two others were remanded to police custody for additional questioning. Investigators are probing possible interstate and international links in the alleged funding network, with the probe still ongoing.
