Justice Vijay Bishnoi Appointed as Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court

The Gauhati High Court is set to have Justice Vijay Bishnoi as its new Chief Justice, according to an official notification from the Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India. Formerly a Judge of the Rajasthan High Court, Justice Bishnoi will assume office on a date specified in the notification, exercising powers conferred by Article 217(1) of the Constitution of India.
