Kamrup Metropolitan District Offers Free Training for Pragyan Bharati Scheme Eligible Students

The Transport Department of Kamrup Metropolitan District has launched a month-long free training programme starting July 1. Aimed at students eligible for two-wheelers under the Pragyan Bharati scheme, nearly 3,000 students from the district qualify.

The training will accommodate 100 students daily at the district transport office in Betkuchi. Eligibility requires Class XII board exam scores of 60% for males and 75% for females from the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council. Successful completion enables students to receive two-wheelers under the state government initiative.
