Kamrup Reviews Panchayat Poll Preparations Ahead of Elections

A review meeting chaired by Kamrup DC Deva Kumar Mishra was held on Sunday to assess panchayat poll preparations. Key topics included ballot printing, staff training, transport, and distribution of election materials. Election materials for Palasbari, Boko-Chhaygaon, and Chamoria will be distributed from DK Girls’ College, Mirza, while those for Kamalpur and Hajo-Sualkuchi will be sent from the Integrated District Office and Guwahati Biotech Park. Vote counting will occur at Mirza and Amingaon. A special training session was also held at Dadara for distribution staff.
