Kanchenjunga and Tejas Express to Halt at Maibang Railway Station

In a boost to connectivity in Assam’s Dima Hasao district, two major trains — Kanchenjunga Express and Tejas Express — will now stop at Maibang Railway Station.

A flagging-off ceremony for the first halt of the Kanchenjunga Express was held on Saturday in the presence of Cabinet Minister Nandita Gorlosa and other local leaders.

Residents welcomed the decision, saying the new stoppages will improve travel convenience and boost economic activities in the region.
