Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh: Assam youth allegedly killed by roommate

It is purported that a roommate in Uttar Pradesh killed a 25-year-old man from the Barpeta district of Assam.

First reports state that the deceased, Sadek Miyan, travelled to Uttar Pradesh a year ago to work in a plastics factory in Kanpur.

According to the deceased’s family, he shared his rental home with Asuruddin Ali, a man from Upper Assam.

They disclosed that, on Monday, Sadek got into a fight with his roommate Asuruddin over money after taking out Rs. 50,000 from the bank to send to his family for the celebration of Magh Bihu.
