Kaushik Rai Denies BJP Rift in Cachar Ahead of Polls

Senior BJP leader Kaushik Rai has dismissed reports of infighting in Cachar after ticket distribution for the Assembly elections.

He said the party remains united despite some leaders being denied tickets. Former MLA Nihar Ranjan Das has resigned and may contest independently from Dholai.

Rai confirmed he will contest from Lakhipur and expressed confidence in BJP’s strong performance in Barak Valley.
