Kaziranga Jeep Safari Suspended from May 19 Due to Bad Weather
Kaziranga National Park will suspend jeep safaris from May 19, 2025, due to poor weather and road conditions. Officials cited tourist safety as the reason. Despite a record 4.06 lakh visitors and Rs 10.90 crore in revenue in 2024–25, heavy rains damaged park infrastructure. The Assam government is also promoting eco-tourism through green initiatives.
