Kaziranga National Park Expanded by 47,391 Hectares
The Assam government has notified the 6th addition to Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve, expanding it by 47,391.33 hectares across Golaghat, Nagaon, Sonitpur, and Biswanath districts. The move enhances biodiversity conservation while allowing vessel passage through the Brahmaputra.
