Kaziranga National Park to Close for Tourists From May 29

Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve will officially close for tourists from May 29, according to a notification issued by the Eastern Assam Wildlife Division.

The park authorities had earlier planned to close the UNESCO World Heritage Site on May 26 but later extended the tourism season by three days. Officials said the current season witnessed a record number of domestic and international tourists visiting Kaziranga.
