Kiren Rijiju Says Minorities Safe in India Due to Hindu Majority

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju stated that minorities in India enjoy full freedom and protection due to the secular and tolerant nature of the Hindu majority. He dismissed claims of widespread minority persecution as misleading propaganda by the Left and Congress. Rijiju, himself from a minority community, said India’s Constitution ensures equality for all and highlighted that many persecuted communities from neighboring countries have sought refuge in India. He stressed that isolated incidents shouldn’t overshadow India’s overall secular character.
