Lakhimpur BLFs Top October Tea Auction Prices

Bought leaf factories (BLFs) in Assam’s Lakhimpur district achieved the highest average price of ₹279.42 per kg for CTC tea at October auctions. Dhemaji district ranked second with ₹257.41 per kg, according to the Tea Board of India.

BLFs, which rely on small tea growers for green leaf supply, play a key role in Assam’s tea production. Other districts also recorded notable averages, including Sivasagar at ₹258.33 and Dibrugarh at ₹254.11 per kg.
