Lovlina Borgohain Secures Silver in Grand Prix 2024, Prepares for Paris Olympics

Ace boxer Lovlina Borgohain concluded her Grand Prix 2024 campaign in the Czech Republic with a silver medal. On the final day of the competition, she narrowly lost 2-3 in her bout against Li Qian of China.
The tournament, held from June 12 to 15, featured a round-robin format. Lovlina started strong with a 3-2 victory over England’s Chantal Reid but faced a setback with a 0-5 loss to Cindy Ngamba of the Olympic Refugee team in her second bout.
Despite this, Lovlina Borgohain’s impressive performance secures her a spot among India’s boxing representatives for the Paris 2024 Olympics, scheduled from July 26 to August 11.
