LPG Shortage Triggers Chaos at Margherita Gas Agency

An acute LPG shortage at M/S Margherita Gas Supply sparked chaos and protests on Wednesday as hundreds of customers gathered to collect cooking gas cylinders. Long queues formed overnight, with many residents waiting since early morning.

Customers accused the agency of poor management, irregular distribution, and black-market sales of cylinders. Angry locals alleged that despite claims of no stock, cylinders were sold to selected individuals.

Police and administrative officials reached the spot to control the tense situation. Residents also demanded the opening of another gas agency in Margherita due to repeated problems in cylinder distribution.
