Man Assaulted by Group Near Kamakhya Temple; Six Detained

Subodh Kumar Singh, a resident of Guwahati, was assaulted by around 15 unidentified individuals near the Kamakhya Temple on Sunday. The attack occurred as he was heading towards Baglamukhi Temple. Singh sustained minor injuries. Following his complaint, Kamakhya Police detained six suspects and transferred them to Jalukbari Police Station. Investigation to identify the remaining attackers is ongoing.
