Man Assaulted by Group of Women in Guwahati’s Hatigaon Area

In a dramatic incident in Guwahati’s Hatigaon area, a man was assaulted by a group of five women, causing a sensation among local residents. The altercation, which occurred on Tuesday, escalated quickly into a physical confrontation as the women attacked the man.

Local police responded to the disturbance, managing to detain three of the women involved, along with another man who also participated in the assault. However, two women managed to escape before they could be apprehended. The police also seized the Alto vehicle allegedly used by the women during the incident.

The motive behind the assault is unclear, but initial reports suggest the man claimed he was being blackmailed by the women for Rs 50,000. Further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
