Man Dies After Alleged Assault in Guwahati’s Bhootnath Area

Guwahati: A man identified as Hare Deka died after an alleged assault in the Bhootnath area of Guwahati late Sunday night. He was found critically injured following a reported altercation and was taken to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he succumbed to his injuries on Monday morning.

Bharalumukh Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
