Man Found Dead at Guwahati Homestay; Girlfriend Questioned

The body of Baharul Islam, a resident of Noonmati, was found at a homestay in Jyoti Nagar, Guwahati, under Chandmari Police Station.

Police said he had attended a late-night gathering at the homestay with his girlfriend before the incident. Preliminary investigation suggests a possible argument between the couple.

The girlfriend has been taken into custody for questioning, while the exact cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem report.
