Man Injured in Rangia Shooting Over Dispute

In Assam’s Rangia, Jyotiprakash Sharma fired two shots at Mridul Baniya during a dispute late Thursday night, injuring Baniya in the thigh. The incident occurred in Dipti Nagar, where Sharma used his registered 0.32 mm pistol. Baniya sought help at the local police station and was later taken to Nalbari Medical College. Sharma, known for brandishing his weapon and terrorizing locals, had his firearm seized by police, who are now investigating the incident. Residents are demanding strict action to restore safety in the area.
