Man Killed in Elephant Attack Amid Human-Wildlife Conflict in Goalpara

In Goalpara district, a 64-year-old man, Samsul Hoque, tragically lost his life in a human-elephant conflict. The incident occurred early Saturday morning in Sonapur Majertila village when a herd of wild elephants entered the area searching for food. As villagers fled, Hoque encountered a lone elephant and was killed in the ensuing attack.
