Man Murders Parents in Karimganj, Sparks Tension

In Karimganj’s Brahmansashan village, Abdul Haleem brutally murdered his elderly parents on Sunday. He reportedly recited Quranic verses and posted them on social media before fleeing. Haleem attacked his father, Abdul Salem (75), with a sharp weapon, and when his mother, Badrun Nessa (66), intervened, she was also killed with a sickle. The police later arrested Haleem and recovered the weapon. Local residents claimed that Haleem was mentally challenged.
