Manas National Park Reopens for 2024-25 Ecotourism Season

Manas National Park & Tiger Reserve will reopen for the 2024-25 ecotourism season on September 27, following the annual monsoon closure. All activities will follow guidelines under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, and Assam Wildlife (Protection) Rules, 1997. The park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will remain closed every Wednesday. It houses rare species like the Assam roofed turtle and pygmy hog, making it a key wildlife destination.
