Manipur CM Khemchand Singh Distributes Financial Assistance to Farmers at PM-KISAN Utsav

Imphal, October 31: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh distributed financial assistance and agricultural benefits to farmers during the PM-KISAN Utsav Diwas held at MSFDS Auditorium in Imphal on Friday. The programme coincided with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s release of the 24th PM-KISAN instalment, transferring over ₹18,690 crore to more than 9.34 crore farmers nationwide.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister urged farmers to adopt year-round cultivation to increase agricultural productivity and strengthen Manipur’s rural economy. He reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to supporting farmers and promoting sustainable agricultural development.
