Manipur Village Clash Death Toll Rises to Four

The death toll in clashes between two Naga villages in Manipur’s Ukhrul district rose to four after one more civilian succumbed to injuries. The violence erupted during a cleanliness drive over a boundary dispute, resulting in gunfire and the looting of 21 weapons and 980 rounds of ammunition from a police station. Over 30 people are receiving treatment for injuries. Security forces have been deployed, and mobile internet services are suspended. Local leaders urged residents to maintain peace.
