Massive Turnout Marks Fifth Day of BJP’s Jana Ashirwad Yatra in Upper Assam

The fifth day of the Jana Ashirwad Yatra saw a large public turnout in Upper Assam, with Himanta Biswa Sarma saying the response exceeded expectations.

During the visit, Sarma inaugurated the BJP’s six-storey Mandal office in Dibrugarh, located at Jeevan Phukan Nagar. The office will serve as a divisional headquarters coordinating party activities across eight districts of Upper Assam.

The event was attended by Sarbananda Sonowal, Dilip Saikia, and other party leaders.

Sarma said the office includes facilities such as conference halls, leadership rooms, a chamber for the party president and Chief Minister, and a media room. He added that the new centre will strengthen BJP’s organisational work as the party prepares for the upcoming Assam Assembly elections.
