MDK Girls’ College Marks Heritage Day with Awareness Programme

The Department of History at MDK Girls’ College observed the International Day for Monuments and Sites with an awareness programme on April 18.

Head of Department Bobita Bora welcomed participants, while Principal Dr Anup Jyoti Bharali stressed the need to preserve cultural heritage.

The keynote was delivered by Nirode Boruah, who spoke on ancient Assam’s cultural regions and their historical significance.

Students and faculty actively participated, and the programme concluded with a vote of thanks by IQAC Coordinator Dr Ashwini Machey.
