MDoNER Clears Rs 31.78 Crore NH-37 Road Project in Assam

The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region has approved a Rs 31.78-crore road project in Assam under the 100 per cent centrally funded NESIDS-Roads scheme. The project involves widening and strengthening an 8.10-km stretch of NH-37 to Gorchuk via Harmotigarh. One more road project was deferred for review in the next meeting. The approved project received clearance after support from concerned ministries and confirmation that there is no flood risk to the road stretch.
