Meghalaya now has a National Law University.
The National Law University (NLU) was inaugurated at the temporary campus at Mayurbhanj Complex, here on Saturday.
While inaugurating the NLU, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said ‘the establishment of NLU in Shillong will contribute to the transformation of legal education and the broader field of education’.
Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court, Sanjib Banerjee, Education Minister, Rakkam A Sangma, and Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Indrajit Dube were also present at the inauguration programme.
