Meth Worth ₹23.72 Crore Seized Near Indo-Myanmar Border

In a joint operation, Assam Rifles and Champhai Police seized 7.907 kg of methamphetamine tablets worth ₹23.72 crore in Mizoram’s Champhai district.

The drugs were recovered from an abandoned vehicle near Hmunhmeltha Road close to the Indo-Myanmar border.

The seized items have been handed over to the Excise and Narcotics Department. Investigation is ongoing to trace those involved.
