Missing Man’s Body Recovered from Kolong River in Nagaon

Nagaon: Panic gripped Nagaon town on Tuesday after the body of a man was recovered from the Kolong River near Yajneshwar Sarma Road, in front of the Transport Corporation office.

The deceased was identified as Raju Das, a resident of Amolapatty, who had reportedly been missing for the past three days. Following information from locals, police and SDRF personnel recovered the body and sent it to Nagaon Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem examination. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
