Missing Youth from Hajo Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances in Nagaon

In a tragic turn of events, Kaushik Baruah, a 25-year-old youth from Hajo, was found dead under mysterious circumstances near the Titaimaree bridge on the Chaparmukh-Kampur state highway on Thursday morning. Missing since Wednesday afternoon from Amsoi in Nagaon, Baruah’s body was discovered by locals who alerted the police. A two-wheeler with registration no. AS 25 X 4948 was found nearby. Baruah, a field assistant at Amsoi Veterinary Sub Center, had been unreachable since his disappearance, with his phone switched off. His family suspects foul play, believing miscreants may have murdered him and dumped his body on the highway. The body has been sent to Nagaon Civil Hospital for an autopsy to determine the cause of death, as no external injuries were observed.
