Multiple Protests Rock Chachal Over CAA, Ethnic Rights, and Workers’ Issues
Chachal, Guwahati witnessed three protests on Tuesday. KMSS and SMSS opposed CAA and demanded Article 371 for Assamese identity protection. AKRSU sought ST status, Kamatapur state, and Koch-Rajbongshi rights. Meanwhile, the HMC demanded job regularisation, fair wages, and facilities for contractual health staff.
