Mysterious Death at Nagaon De-Addiction Centre

Dipu Bora, a youth from Nagaon Huzgaon village, was found dead at the ‘Social Service Light Up Foundation’ de-addiction centre in Borbheti. He had been there for over two weeks. His family, denied visitation on Sunday, were informed of his death on Monday night. The centre’s owner, Gulzar, is now absconding. The family lodged a police complaint, alleging the centre flouted guidelines. Haibargaon police have arrested two associates, Musharraf Ali and Nashibur Haque, in connection with the death.
