Nagaon Book Fair 2026 to Be Held from December 12 to 22

Nagaon: The Nagaon Book Fair 2026 will be organised at Nehrubali Field from December 12 to 22, in association with the Nagaon district administration. The ten-day event will be organised by cultural organisation Kallol Sanskritik Gosthi to promote reading and strengthen the book movement.

A preparatory meeting chaired by Kallol President Lohit Kalita formed the committees to oversee the event, with MLA Rupak Sarmah as president of the executive committee. The meeting also approved a proposal to name the fairground ‘Zubeen Garg Kshetra’ in memory of legendary Assamese singer Zubeen Garg.
