Nagaon Nurse Abduction Sparks Safety Concerns, Police Inaction Alleged

Aklima Khatun, a nurse, was abducted, tortured, and left unconscious in Nagaon’s Bhomoraguri area on December 23. She alleged that three women in college uniforms took her to a hotel, drugged her, and attempted to assault her under the direction of Bilal Khan. Locals found her injured and unconscious, rushing her to a hospital.

Her family accused Batadrava police of refusing to register the case, forcing them to approach the Nagaon SP to file an FIR. Public outrage is growing, with demands for justice and scrutiny of police inaction. Investigations are ongoing.
