Nalbari Administration Issues Eviction Notice for 1,243 Bighas of Government Land

Nalbari, Assam: The Barkhetri Revenue Circle Office has issued an eviction notice concerning 1,243 bighas and 1 lecha of allegedly encroached government land in Kaurbahaiti village. The identified area includes 743 bighas and 1 lecha of Village Grazing Reserve (VGR) land and 500 bighas of general government land.

According to the notice, occupants claiming legal rights must submit supporting documents to the Circle Officer within 15 days. Those without valid documents have been directed to vacate the land within the stipulated period, failing which eviction proceedings may be initiated under applicable laws.
