Newborn Found Dead in Assam’s Tirap River

In Assam’s Margherita sub-division, a dead newborn was discovered in the Tirap River on Monday. Locals in Tinisuti Lungsai village No. 2, under Kumsai Panchayat, spotted the infant and alerted the police. Authorities arrived and sent the body for a postmortem. The incident has shocked the community.
