Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has installed Dual Gate Phones at 1030 out of 1447 level crossing gates to reduce operational issues and enhance safety. This initiative ensures seamless communication between gatemen and station masters, improving punctuality and coordination. Non-interlocked level crossing gates now have voice recording facilities.
