NFR Introduces Enhanced On-Board Services in Five Superfast Trains

Guwahati: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has introduced enhanced on-board services in five superfast train services, becoming the second railway zone in India to implement the initiative. The trains include Kamakhya–SMVT Bengaluru Express, Guwahati–Kolkata Garib Rath Express, Dibrugarh–Mumbai LTT Express and two Vande Bharat Express services.

The initiative focuses on improved coach cleanliness, washroom maintenance, waste management and timely linen services. Dedicated teams will address passenger complaints within two hours, while digital monitoring and AI-based assessments will help ensure service quality, hygiene and passenger comfort.
