NFR Opens New Road Over Bridge at Kampur to Ease Traffic

The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has completed a ₹64 crore Road Over Bridge (ROB) at Kampur station, replacing Level Crossing Gate No. ST-35. Inaugurated by Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on March 30, 2025, the 803-meter-long bridge will ease road congestion and enhance rail safety. The closure of the level crossing will improve train operations and benefit residents of Nagaon and Karbi Anglong districts.
