NFR Reports Growth in Freight Unloading for July

The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) reported a steady growth in freight unloading with 1056 rakes unloaded in July. These rakes carried goods such as rice, sugar, fertilizer, coal, vegetables, and auto parts. In Assam, 593 rakes were unloaded, including 305 with essential commodities. Other states also saw unloading: 72 rakes in Tripura, 23 in Nagaland, 11 in Arunachal Pradesh, 2 in Manipur, and 9 in Mizoram. Additionally, 191 rakes were unloaded in West Bengal and 155 in Bihar. This growth is due to advanced terminal handling and increased unloading efficiency.
