NFR Signs MoUs for Plastic Recycling Hub and Eco-Friendly Train Services

Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) signed MoUs with the Assam Pollution Control Board and IIT Guwahati on August 1. One aims to make Guwahati Railway Station a 100% plastic recycling hub. The other introduces biodegradable bedroll bags in AC coaches, starting with the Brahmaputra Mail. Both initiatives promote eco-friendly practices across the NFR network.
