NHIDCL Executive Director Arrested for ₹10 Lakh Bribe in Assam Highway Project

The CBI arrested NHIDCL Guwahati Executive Director Maisnam Riten Kumar Singh for allegedly taking a ₹10 lakh bribe from Kolkata-based contractor Binod Kumar Jain for a highway project certificate. Searches across seven locations recovered ₹2.62 crore cash, property documents, and luxury vehicle records. Both accused were produced before a CBI court in Guwahati as investigations continue.
