NIA Court Sentences Two More in Assam’s ABT Case

The NIA Special Court in Guwahati sentenced Mufti Suleiman Ali and Imran Hossen in Assam’s ABT case. They received six months of simple imprisonment and fines under IPC and over two years of rigorous imprisonment under the UA(P) Act. The case, linked to the banned AQIS terror outfit, was registered in 2022. Investigations and trials are ongoing.
