Northeast Frontier Railway to Observe Vigilance Awareness Week from October 26

Guwahati: Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will observe Vigilance Awareness Week from October 26 to November 1, 2026, under the theme “Probity for Prosperity.” The week-long programme aims to promote integrity, transparency and accountability through awareness activities involving railway employees, students and the public.

The observance will begin with an Integrity Pledge and walkathons at Maligaon, followed by a street play, a vigilance workshop and the release of a Vigilance Bulletin. Essay and drawing competitions will also be organised at railway schools on October 29 and 30. The initiative forms part of NFR’s three-month preventive vigilance campaign running until November 16.
