NRL Expansion Project, Crude Oil Pipeline Likely to Be Ready by March 2027

Guwahati: Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) expects its major expansion project and the 1,635-km Paradip-Numaligarh crude oil pipeline to be commissioned by March 31, 2027, with more than 1,590 km of the pipeline already laid.

NRL chairman Ranjit Rath said commissioning work on key units is underway, while increased domestic crude production by OIL is expected to support the refinery expansion. He also said NRL is exploring additional POL evacuation facilities and new terminals to meet rising demand in the Northeast.
