One Critically Injured in Late-Night Car Crash at Guwahati’s Hatigarh Chariali

A late-night collision between two vehicles at Hatigarh Chariali in Guwahati on Wednesday left one person, Dipankar Dey, critically injured and caused major damage to both vehicles.

According to reports, the accident occurred when a car making a U-turn was hit by another vehicle speeding along Zoo Road. Eyewitnesses said women were also present in one of the vehicles.

Police have seized both vehicles and detained the occupants for questioning. While locals suspect drunk driving may have played a role, authorities have not yet confirmed the allegation. An investigation is underway.
